Mary J. Blige’s estranged husband fights for more support cash

Mary J. Blige’s estranged husband has accused the singer of using their split to boost her career and keep him out of work.
In new court papers, obtained by The Blast, Martin ‘Kendu’ Isaacs, who was once Blige’s manager, claims he is close to becoming destitute after failing to find work since the marriage split – and Mary’s attacks on him in the media aren’t helping.
He points out the singer has released two “divorce songs” – Love Yourself and Set Me Free – since the end of the marriage, and his estranged wife’s career is on an upturn thanks to the sympathy she’s getting from fans.
Isaacs claims he’s living in a tiny apartment in Los Angeles and he needs more money from Blige just to survive.
He’s asking for $65,000 (GBP49,000)-per-month in support payments.
