Matthew Morrison outraged over Crazy Alien animal abuse reports

Matthew Morrison is outraged over reports a dog was allegedly mistreated on the set of his new film Crazy Alien.
An anonymous person sent a video allegedly showing a German Shepherd locked up in a wire cage while suspended in the air to bosses at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The video also allegedly shows the dog being spun around in the cage and subsequently dropped in water.
According to the video source, this happened several times.
“On November 28th, 2017, I witnessed first hand one of the worst animal cruelty acts I have ever seen,” the insider wrote in a note to PETA.
Morrison is now speaking out about the video, insisting he was unaware of the alleged abuse.
“I’ve just been made aware and seen a video from the set of a film I worked on in China,” he writes on Twitter. “My heart is broken to see any animal treated this way. Had I been on set or known about this, I would have made all efforts to stop this. I’ve called the producers to express my outrage.”
Representatives for production company Dirty Monkey Films Group have not commented on the reports.
Meanwhile, PETA organisers are calling on Morrison to donate his salary to animal rights activists working in China, while demanding director Hao Ning never work with live animals again.
