Michael B. Jordan takes lead in The Thomas Crown Affair remake

Actor Michael B. Jordan has been cast as the lead in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair.
The new film is reportedly still in the early stages and has no producer, writer or director attached, according to Variety.com.
Pierce Brosnan starred in the first remake of the movie in 1999 and, in 2010 it was reported that he had signed on to appear in another film as the story’s criminal mastermind, but the project was thrown into jeopardy after director Paul Verhoeven quit over a script dispute. The movie never came to fruition, but now it seems another film is in the works at MGM Studios with the Creed star taking on the lead role.
The 1999 Brosnan film was a remake of the classic 1968 movie starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway.
