Mobb Deep sued by ex-managers over unpaid expenses

Mobb Deep are facing a lawsuit from their former managers alleging they owe at least $500,000 (£350,000) in unpaid expenses.
Bosses at Buck 50 Productions claim they oversaw the careers of members Prodigy and Havoc from 2010 until the former’s death at the age of 42 last year (17).
In documents obtained by TMZ.com, the management firm’s lawyers state they are owed for tour booking costs, as well as payment for recording and endorsement deals they arranged. They claim Mobb Deep also haven’t paid back advances on future projects – with the bill coming to more than $500,000 in total.
Prodigy, real name Albert Johnson, passed away in June (17), just days after he was hospitalised following a concert in Las Vegas for complications linked to his life-long sickle cell anaemia battle. He was found unconscious at his home hours after choking while eating an egg.
Asked about his bandmate’s death, Havoc, real name Kejuan Muchita, told internet video channel VladTV, “From what I heard, he threw up (after choking on his food) and it went into his lungs. That’s the official part of what I heard. And I still have questions. What the f**k does that mean? He was fine.”
