Olympian Giaan Rooney pregnant

Former Olympic swimmer Giaan Rooney is to be a first-time mum. The Australian gold medalist and her husband Sam Levett are expecting their first child next year (14).
She tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph, “We are absolutely, completely over the moon.
“Sam has probably wanted to be a dad since he was about 15, and he’s absolutely beside himself. For me, I always knew it would happen, but I guess I really needed to be in the right time and right space.
“We are very fortunate and we are ready for it to happen. It finally feels real now, which is great.”
The 30 year old won gold and broke a world record with her medley relay teammates at the Athens Olympics in 2004. She has since retired from the sport and works as a TV presenter Down Under.
