Rapper 2 Chainz’s restaurant fails inspection – report

Rapper 2 Chainz’s Georgia restaurant has reportedly failed its health inspection.
The I’m Different star teamed up with the owner of The Hookah Hideaway, Mychel ‘Snoop’ Dillard, to launch the Escobar Lounge in Atlanta last year (16).
According to reports, the restaurant received a “U” grade, or 59 points out of 100, after a two-hour inspection earlier this month (Feb17). In the report, the inspectors cited violations including uncovered food items; raw meat and raw eggs being stored next to ready-to-eat foods, pre-cooked chicken kept at the incorrect temperature; expired milk; and a “red and black mold-like substance” inside the ice machine, according to Fox News.
Many violations were corrected at the time of the inspection, but the restaurant owners have been given a certain time frame to address the other issues raised in the report.
A spokesperson for the restaurant insists they are open to another inspection, saying, “We hang our hats on being champions of service.”
The restaurant received a 99 score and an “A” grade at its first inspection in August (16). The next inspection is scheduled for next month (Mar17).
