Rapper Fabolous pleads not guilty to domestic violence charges

Rapper Fabolous has pleaded not guilty in his felony domestic violence case.
The Into You hitmaker, real name John Jackson, was arrested in March (18) after becoming engaged in a heated dispute with Love & Hip Hop reality star Emily B, the mother of his two sons, and her dad outside their New Jersey home.
He was accused of third-degree aggravated assault and making terroristic threats, but reportedly rejected a plea deal in July (18).
The case was presented to members of a grand jury earlier this month (Oct18), when Fabolous was indicted on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill, and one of possession of a weapon, after video footage of the clash appeared to show the hip-hop star brandishing a pair of scissors.
According to Bossip, the 40 year old returned to Bergen County Superior Court for arraignment and pleaded not guilty on Monday (22Oct18). Jackson is reportedly considering a deal, in which he would plead to one count of felony brandishing and threatening a domestic violence victim with scissors.
If Fabolous accepts the plea deal, he will avoid jail. He is currently facing more than 20 years behind bars.
The rapper is due back in court in December (18).
Meanwhile, it appears he and Emily B have reconciled – they were seen together several times after the alleged incident, while sources tell the Hip Hop Enquirer the couple wed privately earlier this month.
