Rapper Scarface files countersuit over back child support claims

Rapper Scarface has launched a countersuit against a woman claiming he has failed to pay her child support.
Lisa Ann Varner sued the Geto Boys star earlier this year (18), claiming he had failed to pay more than $6,000 (£4,600) in child support for their eight-year-old daughter.
Scarface, real name Brad Jordan, is now hitting back at Varner’s claims, insisting she filed the lawsuit to “harass, embarrass and annoy” him and sabotage his career.
“These types of allegations and leaked media posts gravely affect and tarnish my public image and severely interfere with my career,” an affidavit obtained by Bossip reads. “I am currently not working, but am looking for work. This type of behavior precludes me from achieving gainful employment.”
Jordan is seeking a restraining order against Varner and her family to stop them from speaking about the case. He also requests she pays his legal bills.
A judge has yet to rule on the case, but the parties are due back in court later this month (Oct18) to discuss the child support claims.
