Rapper Turk victorious in lawsuit against Cash Money Records label bosses

Rapper TURK has scored a legal victory against his former Cash Money Records label bosses BRYAN ‘BABY’ WILLIAMS and RONALD ‘SLIM’ WILLIAMS over unpaid royalties.
The star sued the record executives in February (15) for $1.3 million (£812,500), accusing them of false accounting amid allegations the Hot Boy$ member was not paid for songs he released while signed to their label.
He also requested to have his record contract voided and demanded the return of his music rights.
In March (15), Williams requested a legal extension to give him more time to respond to the lawsuit.
The legal filing was granted and he was given 21 days to respond, but he did not answer to the complaint in time.
A Louisiana judge has now granted the motion of default and will move forward on deciding how much Turk will be awarded, according to AllHipHop.com.
