Rock supergroup to perform The Heartbreakers’ album for benefit show

Blondie’s Clem Burke is teaming up with members of The Heartbreakers, The Replacements and Mc5 to form a supergroup for a special charity show.
Clem will be joined by The Heartbreakers’ Walter Lure, The Replacements’ bassist Tommy Stinson, and Wayne Kramer from MC5 to perform The Heartbreakers’ L.A.M.F. album in full at New York’s Webster Hall on 15 November (16).
The benefit show will also feature Patti Smith’s frequent collaborator Lenny Kaye and New York band Bush Tetras to help raise funds for cancer-stricken writer Stephen Saban.
L.A.M.F. was the only studio album by punk rockers The Heartbreakers, also known as Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers. It was released in 1977.
