Rupert Everett curses on live TV

British actor Rupert Everett turned the air blue on Wednesday (01May13) when he let slip a four-letter word on live TV. The My Best Friend’s Wedding star was being interviewed on U.K. talk show Loose Women when he swore while recalling an incident in the 1980s when he became convinced he had contracted HIV on a film set.
He said, “For the first few years of HIV, you couldn’t test for it. When my whole career started I thought I was on (sic) a death sentence. I remember once I was doing this mini-series called Princess Daisy. You can see it in the film – I was bitten by a mosquito. I looked at the mosquito bite and thought, ‘F**k, this is it!'”
Everett immediately realised his mistake and said, “Sorry everyone!” while presenter Carol Vorderman told viewers, “We do apologise for some naughty language.”
