Serena Williams stuns fiance with her unusual pregnancy cravings

Serena Williams’ fiance Alexis Ohanian has been left amazed by her healthy pregnancy cravings.
While a lot of pregnant women crave weird food pairings or have a raging sweet tooth, it seems that the tennis champ is managing to keep to a relatively healthy diet.
So when it comes to what she’s requesting her husband-to-be to go and buy her, Serena is all about savoury bites to snack on.
The Reddit co-founder posted a video on Saturday (19Aug17) of his late night shopping trip and revealed what was in his shopping basket.
“It’s Friday night, I’m at Publix, going shopping ’cause my fiancee has cravings,” he said looking into the camera. “I was told there would be cravings. I was not told they would be these,” he joked as he held up a bunch of vegetables.
“Zucchini, asparagus and…what’s this one called again? Artichoke. There we go. Really?? These are her cravings. It’s amazing!”
Serena and Alexis have declined to find out the gender of their baby. However, in a recent interview with Vogue, the 35-year-old mum-to-be predicted that they’re expecting a baby girl.
“I told Alexis it has to be a girl because there I was playing in 100-degree weather, and that baby never gave me any trouble,” she smiled referring to her match at the Australian Open.
“Ride or die. Women are tough that way.”
And while the baby wasn’t planned, Serena confessed she was oddly prepared to become a first-time mum.
“Once I found out, something happened that surprised me, I became really calm. I thought, ‘You have to win, but you’re allowed to lose, because you have something to look forward to’.”
