Seth Rogen knew all about porn star Stormy Daniels‘ alleged romance with Donald Trump years before the story became a major scandal – and thought nothing of it.
The funnyman got to know Stormy while working with the adult actress on the sets of The 40-Year-Old-Virgin and Knocked Up, and recalls one chat they had about her sex partners.
“I’ve known Stormy Daniels a long time and I’ll be honest, she may have mentioned some of this stuff around 10 years ago,” Seth tells talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in an interview that airs on Monday (02Apr18).
“At the time, when you ask a porn star who they’ve been sleeping with and the answer was Donald Trump, it was, like, the least surprising thing that she could have said.
“As his (political) campaign rolled out, it became clear that no one cared about anything he did… (but) when I saw it (claims Stormy had romanced the U.S. President) I was like, ‘Oh yeah, Stormy told us all about that!'”
Seth didn’t keep in touch with Daniels but admits he was quite tickled to see the porn star in the news: “She’s clearly done well with herself,” he laughs.
Stormy was hired to play strippers in the two films after producers opted to recruit adult actresses for pole dancing scenes rather than regular young wannabes.
“For Stormy, it was the easiest thing she did all week,” the funnyman cackles.
In January (18), editors at The Wall Street Journal reported Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Dean Cohen, had paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 in October 2016, shortly before the presidential election, to deny she had an affair with Trump in 2006.
