Shiri Appleby discovered allergy to hay during love scene

Actress SHIRI APPLEBY realised she is allergic to hay while filming a love scene in a barn for her TV series.
Appleby currently stars in new U.S. drama UnREAL, and in a recent episode she and her love interest, played by Josh Kelly, engaged in an impromptu steamy scene.
In an interview with chat show The Talk on Thursday (16Jul15), Appleby admitted that filming the roll in the hay wasn’t as hot as it looked on screen, and she made an unwelcome discovery about her immune system.
She revealed, “I’m incredibly allergic to hay and I found out on that day. We were shooting that scene and I’m like (sneezing), ‘Sorry, Josh! Two more seconds!’ (sneezing) – I’m ready. Let’s go!’ It was a massive allergy attack.”
The former Roswell actress added, “I was scratchy, so uncomfortable, my eyes were watering, I couldn’t breathe. And he’s (Kelly) across from me and said, ‘This is the least attractive thing.'”
