Simon Cowell and Oscar winner Diablo Cody have teamed up to develop a new TV comedy about synchronised swimming.
The untitled show has been picked up by executives at Fox.
Juno screenwriter Cody will co-write the script with Glee co-creator Ian Brennan.
Cowell will be among the producers.
