Simon Cowell planning to turn son into mini mogul

Simon Cowell wants to teach his son all the tricks of the trade as soon as his kid is legally allowed to quit school.
The British music and reality TV mogul admits he was never one for academia, and credits his success to hard work and perseverance.
Simon would love his boy Eric to start working with him sooner rather than later, so he can train his son up to one day take over his business empire.
And the America’s Got Talent judge has already gotten a head start, even though Eric is only three years old.
“He’s like mini me now, because now I’m teaching him my job,” Simon told U.S. breakfast show Today. “He’ll hopefully be coming to work with me as soon as I can get him out of school, if I’m honest with you, like I did. I left when I was 16, I was like, I just wanna go to work.”
Eric is Simon’s only child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, and despite previously swearing off the idea of fatherhood, the 57-year-old admits he couldn’t be happier as a dad.
Having a child has also made the famous workaholic re-evaluate his priorities in life.
“It (fatherhood) does change you,” he smiled. “Most importantly, it gives you a balance. We’re all lucky to be doing what we’re doing, but when someone like him comes along, this (work) just falls into second place.”
Lauren also has another son from her marriage to Simon’s former friend, Andrew Silverman, who she divorced in 2013.
