Ozzy Osbourne once had 3,000 pounds of ice delivered to cool his pool

Ozzy Osbourne recently had 3,000 pounds of ice delivered to his home simply so he could cool his pool. 
The Black Sabbath rocker’s wife Sharon Osbourne made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night (27Sep18), and during the chat, host Jimmy asked her about some photos posted on social media in July showing Ozzy with some giant blocks of ice.
She explained that the water in the luxury pool had become too warm for Ozzy, and after the ice blocks had been dropped in, it was cooled by about three degrees.
“He ordered it and it came in a big truck and one of those big cranes brought it in. It was fabulous,” the 65-year-old said. “Too hot, he couldn’t get it cold enough. And then that melted in like two minutes, so now he’s got a special machine put in the pool to make it ice cold.”
During the chat, Sharon also gushed over her husband and suggested that he would be the ideal candidate to take over a spot on her panel show The Talk following Julie Chen’s recent departure.
And though they have had their ups and downs over the years, the TV personality insisted that she still loves spending time with the 69-year-old musician, especially when he’s performing at concerts.
“I’m just so proud of him and I love to feel that audience, the way they love him and appreciate him,” she smiled. “There’s nothing like it. It’s magic to me.”
