The Saturdays star Vanessa White splits from boyfriend

Former The Saturdays singer Vanessa White has split from her long-term boyfriend Gary Salter.
The 27-year-old singer first started dating stylist Gary in 2011, but after six years the couple have decided to go their separate ways.
Speaking about the split, Vanessa admitted it had been a “difficult decision”.
An insider close to the couple added that both Vanessa and Gary were looking to focus on their work.
“It hasn’t been an easy time for them both as they were so close over the six years they were together,” the source told WENN. “They’re still good friends and they are staying positive as they feel they’re doing the right thing. Vanessa is enjoying life as a solo artist which is keeping her busy. She’s looking the best she ever has and the reaction to her new music is incredible.
“Gary’s career as a menswear stylist is going well so they’re really happy for each other even though it was a difficult decision to make.”
The singer rose to fame as a member of British girl group The Saturdays, but has been pursuing a solo career since the band went on hiatus in 2014. Earlier this month (Apr17) she confirmed she had permanently left the group.
Vanessa released her second EP, Chapter Two, last month (Mar17), and told Paper magazine at the time that she was looking to move away from her pop roots.
“Well, I came from a girl band which was very much pop and very different to this, but I’ve always been such an R&B fan,” she explained. “So I guess for me, it wasn’t even necessarily the music, I wanted to say what I couldn’t say before? I was like f**k this, I am such a sexual person anyway.”
