Actor Tim Daly is celebrating the birth of his grandson.
The Madam Secretary star’s son Sam welcomed his first child with his wife of two years, Marissa Bataille, on 5 March (17), and Tim took to Twitter on Tuesday (14Mar17) to introduce fans to the new addition.

Alongside a photo of the tot sleeping, the proud grandfather wrote, “HUMANS!!! Meet one of your own. Owen James Daly. Born 3/5/17. I love him beyond all reasonable measure.”
Tim, 61, previously admitted he was looking forward to welcoming the latest Daly family member.
“It’s awesome. It’s the best thing ever. I’m a lover of babies,” he gushed to singer-turned-talk show host Harry Connick, Jr. in December (16). “I especially love them when they can’t escape. You can just hold them and pinch them and they smell good, and they’re really happy.”
Red Tails actor Sam Daly, 32, is Tim’s son with his actress ex-wife Amy Van Nostrand. They also share a daughter named Emelyn.
