Usher’s Herpes Accuser Files Lawsuit Against Insurance Companies

A woman who accused Usher of giving her herpes has now launched a lawsuit against bosses at three insurance companies.

Laura Helm claimed she contracted the sexually transmitted disease during unprotected sex sessions with the Yeah! hitmaker in July (17).

The singer previously denied Helm’s claims and in November (17) her lawyer requested the dismissal of a $20 million lawsuit without prejudice.

Helm reportedly intends to file a new suit against Usher, but she is now going after insurance company bosses, claiming an application she filed in July (17) with a broker that represented the three companies was posted on a blog post in August and revealed her “private sensitive health information”.

She also alleges she was defamed and accused of insurance fraud.

She is suing bosses at United Heathcare, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Louisiana, Golden Rule Insurance Company, and the unidentified blog bosses, according to TMZ.
