Weezer dress up as Guns N’ Roses for new video

The reason behind Weezer’s Guns N’ Roses-inspired performance at the Arroyo Seco festival in California last month (Jun17) has been explained in the band’s new video.
Frontman Rivers Cuomo kicked off the group’s set dressed as Axl Rose, complete with acid washed denim jacket, ginger wig and bandanna, and bandmate Brian Bell took the stage as Slash.
The duo also shot footage of them messing around in costume before the show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena – and it all appeared in their homage to G N’ R’s Paradise City promo, which accompanies the rockers’ new single Feels Like Summer.
Weezer released Feels Like Summer in March (17) and the song will feature on the group’s upcoming 11th album.
