Westlife to reunite

Westlife are gearing up to reunite, but without original member Brian Mcfadden.
The boyband achieved huge success in the ’90s, thanks to the vocal talents of Brian, Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne. And with the trend of former groups giving things another go, Westlife manager Louis Walsh has confirmed he’s in talks with the boys to try their luck a second time around. But Brian, who is currently touring with Boyzone star Keith Duffy as Boyzlife, won’t be involved, after falling out with Louis when he left the group in 2004.
“Brian won’t be involved, it will be the Fab Four. Totally,” Louis told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “The four of them just see them themselves as Westlife.”
Asked if he would consider letting Brian get involved if he made a personal plea, Louis hit back: “No, I prefer a happy band and four happy people. They all know each other, they all respect each other.
“Three of them live in the same town in Sligo (in Ireland), so it makes more sense.”
Dates for a comeback tour have yet to be set, but Louis is adamant that it will happen in the near future.
“There is a huge demand for it to happen and I’m talking to all the boys,” he smiled. “They are going to decide when it takes place. I’m looking after Shane, I’m talking to Mark all the time, I’m talking to Kian and talking to all of them – I’m really good friends with all of them.”
Westlife enjoyed huge chart success with songs like Flying Without Wings, Uptown Girl, You Raise Me Up and Fool Again before they split in 2012.
