Bleed For This lawsuit dismissed

The real life boxer Miles Teller portrayed onscreen in 2016 movie Bleed For This has dropped his lawsuit against the biopic’s filmmakers.
Former boxer Vinny Pazienza, aka Vinny Paz, sued director Ben Younger and producer Chad Verdi after accusing them of conning him out of the $300,000 (£222,675) payment he was promised, giving him only $125,000 (£92,780) instead.
He demanded the balance of the funds, but Younger and Verdi hit back, insisting Paz agreed to the reduced fee when they struggled to secure funding for the project – claims the retired sportsman disputed, accusing the pair of forging his signature on the document.
However, the case has since been dismissed with prejudice by a judge in Rhode Island’s Superior Court, meaning it cannot be refiled, reports The Providence Journal.
Paz, a one-time lightweight, light middleweight and super middleweight champ, told the publication the incident had been a “misunderstanding” which has now been resolved.
