Rockers Glass Animals have cancelled their tour dates for the rest of the year (18) following their drummer’s bicycle accident.
Joe Seaward broke several bones and fractured his skull after he was hit by a truck while riding his bike in Dublin, Ireland on 2 July (18).
The band was scheduled to join Beck for his Colors Tour in New York and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania later this month (Jul18), but now singer Jenny Lewis will serve as a replacement.
“It’s going to be a long, difficult, and winding road, but knowing how determined Joe is, and seeing how much his body has already recovered in the past 10 days, I am so optimistic that he will make it back to his cheeky old self,” a message from frontman David Bayley on Instagram reads.
