Hypothermia confirmed as Craig Strickland’s cause of death

Officials working for the Oklahoma Medical Examiner have confirmed country star Craig Strickland died from hypothermia.
The Backroad Anthem singer and his friend Chase Morland died during a duck hunting trip in Kay County, Oklahoma in December (15).
The two men were reported missing on 27 December (15) and Strickland’s body was found on 4 January (16).
The 29-year-old’s death has been ruled an accident.
Craig’s wife Helen posted a photograph of herself posing by her late husband’s grave last week (17Mar16) on Instagram and added the caption: “Even in the hardest of times we have so much to be thankful for!
“Today we set Craig’s headstone and our family could not be more happy with how it turned out!! It’s everything I’d hoped it would be. Beautiful and Unique!”
