Superman actor Marc McClure makes cameo in Justice League

Original Superman: The Movie actor Marc Mcclure has returned to the world of comic book blockbusters for a small role in the upcoming Justice League movie.
McClure portrayed Daily Planet photojournalist Jimmy Olsen in the 1978 Christopher Reeve film, and reprised his role in three sequels, as well as the Supergirl spin-off in 1984.
Now the actor, who also guest starred in Superman TV series Smallville, has taken on a part as a Metropolis police officer in Justice League. His appearance was unveiled on Monday night (23Oct17), when the latest promotional material for the forthcoming release aired on U.S. TV.
In the footage, McClure’s cop is featured calling on Ray Fisher’s Cyborg character to “step back” from a burning wreckage.
Justice League, which also stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Henry Cavill as Superman, is set for release next month (Nov17).
