Airwolf star Jan-Michael Vincent dead at 74

Actor Jan-Michael Vincent has died, aged 74.
The 1980s heartthrob, who was best known for his role on TV’s Airwolf, passed away on 10 February (19) after suffering a cardiac arrest.
According to the death certificate, obtained by TMZ, Vincent died at a North Carolina hospital. No autopsy was performed and he was later cremated.
During his run as the star of Airwolf from 1984 to 1987, he was reportedly the highest-paid TV star. The actor portrayed helicopter pilot Stringfellow Hawke on the show.
Unfortunately, cocaine abuse led to the demise of his career, and Jan-Michael almost died in 2012 from an infection that required his right leg to be amputated.
His other credits include the 1978 Burt Reynolds movie Hooper and Hard Country, in which he starred opposite a young Kim Basinger.
He also appeared in classic TV series Lassie, Bonanza, and Gunsmoke.
