Joseph Campanella dies aged 93

Character actor Joseph Campanella has died at the age of 93.
The screen star, the younger brother of late actor Frank Campanella, passed away on Wednesday (16May18) at his home in Sherman Oaks, California. He is survived by Jill, his wife of 53 years, as well as their seven children and eight grandchildren.
During his prolific career, Joseph had guest roles on TV shows such as The Fugitive, Mission: Impossible, Dallas, 21 Jump Street and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He also starred as a series regular in the first season of cop drama Mannix, earning an Emmy nomination in the process, and in soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 1996 to 2005.
He was also a successful voice actor, lending his dulcet tones to more than 20 episodes of Spider-Man and landing a regular role on animated series Road Rovers between 1996 to 1997.
His final credit was in 2009 movie Lost Dream.
