Adrian Grenier accepts Paul Walker’s Ocean Leadership Award from actor’s daughter

Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow continued her late father’s conservation legacy on Saturday (04Jun16) when she presented Entourage star Adrian Grenier with the 2016 Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award.
The 17-year-old and Grenier celebrated World Ocean Day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California.
Adrian was honoured for his work with The Lonely Whale organisation, which is dedicated to bringing people closer to the world’s oceans “through education and awareness, inspiring empathy and action for ocean health and the well being of marine wildlife”.
The actor shared a photo alongside Meadow and Monterey Bay Aquarium’s executive director Julie Packard on Twitter, writing: “Honoured to share my voice today. Thank you @paulwalkerfdn for recognising my work with @lonelywhale.”
Accepting the award, Adrian said, “I share Paul’s inquisitiveness for the mystery of the ocean and the great potential it holds for new discoveries that will enrich the lives and inspire the curiosities of the next several generations. I also share Paul’s passion for ocean health and recognise that we have an opportunity to create real and lasting change that will benefit our marine environment and ultimately ourselves.”
