Imagine what you were doing at 13 years old. You were probably stuck somewhere between celebrating the fact that it was Pizza Day at lunch and picking the perfect, not-too-revealing tank top to wear to the school dance. Pretty normal, but also pretty shameful if you’ve seen the most recent episode of America’s Got Talent and witnessed the girl wonder that is Laura Bretan.
Meet Laura, your seemingly average 13-year-old girl, who likes singing Opera and is super nervous to sing on TV.
Who wouldn’t be if they’re singing across from this face?
Now watch her open her mouth and slay. Basically, if you’ve ever thought you were pretty good at karaoke after a couple cocktails, Bretan will make you want to throw down the microphone and never, ever attempt that thing you call “singing” again.
She literally brought the audience to tears and got a standing ovation from everyone including the notoriously grumpy Simon Cowell who said, “I have never heard anything like that in all the years I’ve been doing this show. Seriously.”
Look at how cute and humble she is when she realizes she totally nailed it.
