The View has been on TV for just under 20 years. The talk show, which was created by esteemed journalist and TV host Barbara Walters, is widely regarded as bad daytime TV. For example, my grandmother watches The View, and it only has three out of 10 stars on IMDB. It’s not hip, but with the addition of Raven-Symoné and a revolving cast of some of entertainment’s trendiest female talent (Kaley Cuoco, Kelly Osborne, etc.), the show is certainly trying.
We all know The View isn’t really cutting edge when it comes to progressive, liberal beliefs, and perhaps the most watchable part of the show is how insanely awkward it is when things get political. This supercut by YouTuber Eve M showcases some of The View’s most cringe-worthy (and vaguely racist) moments. It’s like watching a train wreck happen over and over again. We can’t look away.
