Breaking Bad star Anna Gunn is returning to the New York stage in Sex With Strangers. The Emmy winner is joining Boardwalk Empire actor Billy Magnussen in the two-person Off-Broadway production, directed by Friends star David Schwimmer and written by Laura Eason.
Magnussen will play a sex blogger who goes on a mission to find his favourite novelist, played by Gunn. Their relationship turns sexual, forcing them to face a series of unforeseen circumstances.
Gunn, whose last appearance on the Big Apple stage was in the 1996 revival of Jean Anouilh’s The Rehearsal, follows in the footsteps of her former TV husband, Bryan Cranston, who is currently starring on Broadway as U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson in All The Way.
