Mel B Finally Confirms The Spice Girls Reunion Of Our ’90s Dreams

Rumors of a Spice Girls reunion have been kicking around so long we thought it was never, ever going to actually happen. We know Sporty Spice is out making her solo record, and Posh Spice (Queen Victoria Beckham) is killing the fashion game — but what about the other girls. Surely, some of them have time, right?

It’s the 20th anniversary of the first Spice Girls album, so we’ve been speculating like mad and adding ‘Wannabe’ to every Spotify playlist we make. We’re trying to send a signal to the gods of broken up, ’90s girl bands, okay? It must’ve worked because it finally looks like the reunion of our ’90s dreams is happening!

Mel B (or Scary Spice as you may remember her) went on the Late Late Show and confirmed the 20th anniversary reunion to James Corden. Of course, Corden, a fellow Brit, just had to ask.

“We are going to do something us three,” Mel B said. “We’re going to perform and celebrate together for the people.”

The reunion tour hasn’t been booked yet, but Mel B thinks they’ll probably start in London considering they’re a British band. Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) are totally on board. We’re unfortunately going to be missing Mel C and Victoria Beckham (Sporty and Posh Spice respectively).

“You know Victoria is busy with her great fashion line and Mel C is doing her own album, so they gracefully said, ‘You three go ahead and do it,'” said Mel B. “We’re girl power. We support each other.”

Checkout the full interview above, and get out your glittery platforms and mini skirts because the Spice Girls are back!
