Supermodel Bar Refaeli splashed out to maintain her good looks by covering her face in 24-carat liquid gold for a one-of-a-kind facial. The 28 year old tried the new anti-ageing beauty treatment, which is gaining popularity among wealthy celebrities.
Refaeli posted a photo of herself on Instagram.com showing her face dripping with the expensive liquid.
The gold Bee Venom Facial costs $1,600 (£1,000), according to MarieClaire.co.uk.
This isn’t the first time Refaeli has tried out unusual pampering procedures – in December (13), she shared a snap of herself receiving a ‘vampire facial’, which involves drawing blood before massaging it back into the skin to help tackle wrinkles.
