Francis claimed the Las Vegas gambling mogul sent menacing messages about him in an email, but Wynn insisted the allegations were untrue and sued for damage to his reputation and emotional distress.
They appeared in court in Los Angeles on Tuesday, and Wynn told jurors he would never threaten anybody as it would jeopardise his businesses, according to the Associated Press.
He says, “I’ve never sent an email in my life. (Making threats) would be a singularly self-destructive act – incredibly, incredibly stupid.”

The case is the latest in a long line of legal wrangling between the pair, who first headed to court in 2009 over a $2 million (£1.2 million) gambling debt the soft porn boss allegedly owed.
