Mark Wahlberg nursing injured right hand

Actor Mark Wahlberg is nursing a swollen right hand after he was stung by an insect in Florida. The Fighter star flew to Miami on Thursday (11Apr13) for the premiere of his new film Pain & Gain, which is set in the southern state, and while partying with his co-stars Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie he sustained a minor injury, which later became infected.
Wahlberg was forced to receive medical treatment to bring down the swelling and on Monday (15Apr13) he appeared on U.S. morning show Live! With Kelly and Michael with a bandaged arm.
He explained, “I got stung by something and it’s infected and now I have to ice it.”
The 41 year old sat for the interview with a large ice pack, which began to melt all over his clothes, and he joked, “I’m leaking.”
He isn’t the only star sporting hand a wrist injuries – Zac Efron showed up to the MTV Movie Awards with his right wrist bandaged up and new dad Steve Martin has also been spotted out and about in Los Angeles with a cast on his arm.
