Nick Cannon gets confidence boost with leaked Pitbull song

Mariah Carey’s rapper/actor husband Nick Cannon has thanked fans for their positive feedback after a new song he recorded with Pitbull leaked online. The star, who has also become a popular TV personality as the host of America’s Got Talent, has been working on the follow-up to his 2011 album Mr. Showbiz and devotees got a sneak peek of his new material when a collaboration with the Don’t Stop the Party hitmaker surfaced on the Internet last week (ends31May13).
Cannon admits the song is not yet complete, but the kind comments he has received about the tune have given him a big boost ahead of his music return.
In a series of posts on Twitter.com, he writes, “I apologize for the leak of my song America featuring @Pitbull I appreciate all of the great feedback & love but the song is unfinished…
“America featuring @Pitbull was not supposed to be released yet. But the feedback has been amazing. America will be a single down the road”.
