Shailene Woodley in the dark over Big Little Lies ending

Shailene Woodley has no idea how the second season of Big Little Lies ends.
The 27-year-old actress stars as Jane Chapman in the hit programme, alongside a star-studded cast including Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep. The second series explores Jane’s storyline following the murder of Nicole’s character’s husband Perry, played by Alexander Skarsgard, who was revealed as Jane’s rapist in an explosive conclusion to the first season.
But when it comes to what’s in store for Jane at the end of the show’s second series, Shailene told The Hollywood Reporter she’s as much in the dark as everyone else.
“The final episode actually changed a lot between reshoots and the time of filming,” she explained. “So I don’t actually know how it ends still. I’m very much an audience member when it comes to season two of Big Little Lies.
“But I will say that the way Jane’s storyline ends just filled me with a lot of warmth and a lot of hope for the world. And for women and for men who are of any age who are trying to move past trauma in a way that fuels their future with a sense of comfort.”
