Newly single Taye Diggs is launching his own programme about unmarried fathers.
The How Stella Got Her Groove Back star announced his separation from his wife of nearly 10 years, Idina Menzel, last December (13), and now he’s using his talents to help other men who are also juggling fatherhood and single life.
Diggs, who shares four-year-old son Walker with Menzel, took to Twitter.com on Wednesday (09Jul14) to announce his new project, Single Urban Dads. He wrote, “Starting-up a new show. Launching it on @twitter. Stay tuned to @SingleUrbanDads to learn more.”
A description on the show’s official Twitter.com page reads, “Single Urban Dads dealing with the challenges and triumphs of being a single dad in the big city.”
Diggs has since moved on to another woman, debuting his new girlfriend Amanza Smith Brown as they walked the red carpet together at the BET Awards last month (Jun14).
