Theory of a Deadman cancels gigs over frontman’s illness

Canadian rockers Theory Of A Deadman have axed a set at the Bay City River Roar event in Michigan later this month (Jun14) due to illness. The band was set to perform at the annual car show on 27 June (14) but have now pulled out after frontman Tyler Connolly was put on vocal rest.
A statement from the organisers of the event reads, “Due to a medical diagnosis, Theory of a Deadman lead singer Tyler Connolly has been ordered on a long term vocal rest. Because of the diagnosis, Theory of a Deadman will be cancelling a number of appearances including the 2014 Bay City River Roar.”
The band has also scrapped a planned performance at the Tail Creek Mud & Music Festival in Alberta, Canada on 29 June (14).
