Four years ago, the final Wizards of Waverly Place episode aired, marking the end of an era. Not only was the Selena Gomez-led comedy one of very few Disney Channel shows that surpassed the 100-episode milestone, but it showcased a magically-inclined family we all fell in love with.

Long before Tiffany Thorton was kind of/sorta of Demi Lovato's on-screen best friend and also nemesis (on Sonny With a Chance), she was practicing her acting chops as Susan. Though she only appeared in one episode early in 2007, we're sure Disney execs saw something special here because not soon after, SWAC started development and casting and Tiffany made a natural Tawnie.

#TBT to the amazingly hilarious days prior to Shake It Up! when Bella Thorne played Max's secret girlfriend, Nancy Lukey on the show. That's right, before she was Zendaya's dancing partner in crime and real-life best friend, Bella was the first girl Max ever confided in about his family being a bunch of wizards. Sadly though, she ends up breaking up with Max after she confronts his family and they vehemently deny that they're wizards.

Shakira - "Dude Looks Like Shakira"

Shakira, Shakira's appearance on the third season of Wizards was probably the best of all-time. In "Dude Looks Like Shakira," the Russo children discover their Uncle Kelbo magically transformed himself into Shakira, made up the name, and became an international pop star with his newfound magical identity. Those hips may not lie, but Uncle Kelbo certainly did!

Moises Arias, Wizards of Waverly Place
Disney Channel

Look around. Moises Arias is EVERYWHERE. In the Wizards episode "Conscience," Moises takes a break from playing the rich sidekick on Hannah Montana to be Max Russo's inner voice of reason. Think of him as both the angel and devil that metaphorically sit on Max's shoulder -- except Max performed a spell that actually brought him to life!

China Anne McClain - "Wizard vs. Angels"
China Anne McClain, Wizards of Waverly Place
Disney Channel

In "Wizards vs. Angels," China Anne McClain makes a pre-A.N.T. Farm appearance as Tina, a young Guardian Angel. Together, Alex and Tina work together to retrieve The Moral Compass, which was stolen and therefore caused all the Russos to act out of character.
