Azealia Banks’ album delayed again

Rising rap star Azealia Banks has delayed the release of her long-awaited debut album for another two months on the advice of her record label bosses. The hip-hop newcomer had initially planned to unveil Broke With Expensive Taste in September, 2012, but the project suffered a series of setbacks and was pushed back until 2013 before being scheduled to hit retailers this month (Jan14).
However, Banks has since told fans they will have to wait even longer for the new material.
After one Twitter.com follower asked if rumours of a March (14) release were true, the star confirmed the news and responded, “The label changed their mind.”
She also confessed there had been a change of plans for the forthcoming single, with label executives choosing a track called Chasing Time over Soda, but she insists she is happy with the new arrangements.
She added, “Obeying my label is the best decision I’ve ever made. My relationship with them is so good right now!”
