James Norton dating Imogen Poots – report

British actor James Norton was recently spotted kissing his co-star Imogen Poots in London, sparking speculation of a romance.
The Grantchester actor, who has been hotly tipped to become the next James Bond after Daniel Craig, was caught locking lips and holding hands with the 28 Weeks Later star while Christmas shopping in London’s Spitalfields Market last week (end24Dec17) and the pictures were published in Britain’s Daily Mail on Wednesday (27Dec17).
“They appeared to be very much in love,” an onlooker said. “They are clearly very close and seemed relaxed in each other’s company.”
James, 32, and Imogen, 28, are currently starring as an American couple living in Paris on stage in the play Belleville at the Donmar Warehouse theatre. The production opened at the start of December and is set to close in February (18).
It is thought James split from his girlfriend of around two years, actress Jessie Buckley, over the summer, although it was not reported. They embarked on a relationship after starring as onscreen siblings in the BBC TV adaptation of War and Peace, which aired in January, 2016.
The former couple mostly kept their relationship private, although James did admit in an interview with British Vogue earlier this year that they began 2017 with a relaxed holiday in Venice, Italy but have since been struggling with their work schedules.
“It was the best New Year I’ve ever had. And now she’s gone,” he said. “We normally have a three-week rule, but this time I don’t think it’s going to work. It’s horrible.”
He also confessed that while he received a career boost by attending the Golden Globes in January, he wasn’t in a happy place.
“On paper, I should have been happier than ever but I’ve rarely felt so low,” he said. “I was actually just really lonely and really confused by what was happening to my life.”
