Norman Lear developing One Day at a Time revival

Sitcom legend Norman Lear is hoping to bring his beloved U.S. series One Day At A Time back to TV – with an all-Latino cast. The producer is developing a revival of his comedy, which ran for nine seasons from 1975 to 1984 and featured Bonnie Franklin, Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli.
Bosses at Sony previously attempted to make a Spanish-language version of One Day at a Time with Telemundo in the 1990s. Lear’s show will be in English.
Lear previously revealed he is also developing a revival of another hit show, All in the Family.
