Bonus Trivia

Wilco got into legal trouble following the release of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot for sampling recordings of mysterious "numbers stations" from a documentary album called The CONET Project; a settlement allowed that album to be re-pressed in larger quantities.

Wilco members John Stirratt and Pat Sansone also formed a band called The Autumn Defense that explored a quieter sound influenced by 1970s soft rock.

Wilco curated a weekend-long festival, Solid Sound Festival, that took place every year during the last weekend of June at Mass MOCA in North Adams, Massachusetts, featuring friends, influences, and side projects of the band members.
