Wladimir Klitschko hit with lawsuit from boxer’s wife

Boxer Wladimir Klitschko has been hit with a lawsuit from the wife of a fighter he mentors who suffered extensive injuries following a bout last year (13). Magomed Abdusalamov underwent brain surgery and suffered several seizures following his clash with Mike Perez in New York in November, 2013, and his wife now insists the fight should have been stopped.
She claims Klitschko and his K2 Boxing Promotions company associates delayed getting medical attention to her husband in documents obtained by TMZ.com.
The Ukrainian boxer has filed an insurance claim through his company to cover the costs of any judgements pertaining to the lawsuit, but bosses at the insurance company state there is a clause in their deal with Klitschko which excluded injuries inside the ring.
Bosses at the insurance company have asked a judge to rule in their favour.
