Reclusive British singer Adele transformed into George Michael to celebrate her 27th birthday on Tuesday (05May15).
The Rolling in the Deep hitmaker has maintained a low profile since giving birth to her son Angelo in 2012 and rarely uses her social media accounts, so she surprised fans on Wednesday (06May15) by tweeting a picture of herself dressed as British singer Michael during her birthday celebrations.
In the snap, Adele appears unrecognisable in a wig, sunglasses, leather jacket and fake facial hair as she recreates Michael’s look from his 1987 Faith video in a photo booth.
She adds in a caption, “Thank you for the birthday wishes I had a wonderful time! I was my hero x #gottahavefaith.”
Adele’s long-awaited follow-up to her 2011 album 21 has been reportedly postponed a number of times, and is now said to be scheduled for release in September (15).
