‘Two and a Half Men’ Shakeup: Angus T. Jones will not be back as a regular

Actor Angus T. Jones has lost his status as a regular on hit TV sitcom Two And A Half Men just five months after labeling the show “filth” and urging viewers to turn it off. Network bosses at CBS have renewed the show for an 11th season, with stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer each signing new one-year contracts, but former child star Jones won’t be back. Insiders claim he will return as a recurring guest star.

The news comes just months after Jones hit the headlines by taping a testimonial video for the religious organization Forerunner Chronicles. In the YouTube film that eventually went viral, he urged viewers to stop watching Two and a Half Men so he would no longer have to work on the show. He later apologized for his comments but rumors were rampant that he would either leave the hit series or be let go.
