Though actor Robert Blake attended Friday’s funeral of slain wife Bonny Lee Bakley, members of her immediate family did not. Blake, 67, had invited the New Jersey-based Bakley family to attend the funeral in the Hollywood Hills, Reuters reports, but the family members declined, still suspicious of whether Blake had any involvement in her shooting. “I can’t fathom it,” said Blake‘s lawyer, Harland Braun. “[Blake] even offered to pay their way out if money was an issue, but they’ve decided not to come.” Cary Goldstein, a lawyer for Bakley’s sister, said that the family did not attend the service because they felt uncomfortable around Blake.
