On Saturday, Feb. 9–the weekend of the NBA All-Star Game–Britney Spears will join other celebrities for a new TV special titled The NBA All-Star Read to Achieve Celebration, a one-hour program promoting literacy among children.
It’s not your ordinary TV special: Read to Achieve will be simultaneously broadcast on several networks, including NBC, Nickelodeon, BET and TNT.
NBA fans will certainly recognize the event’s two hosts, Ahmad Rashad and Summer Sanders of the weekly NBC highlight show NBA Inside Stuff.

Kids, parents and Britney fans who want to see Read to Achieve can’t sleep in too late on the 9th–the show will be broadcast live at 11 a.m. from Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania Convention Center.
